The newest class of Junior Ambassadors came together for an exciting evening of fun and team building at The Factory, setting the tone for a year of growth, leadership, and community engagement. The opening retreat was filled with games and activities designed to sharpen the students' collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
The event began with a series of icebreakers, allowing each student to introduce themselves and share unique aspects of their backgrounds and personalities. As the students became more comfortable with one another, they engaged in team-building exercises that required creative problem-solving and collaboration. From climbing races to interactive challenges, each activity emphasized the importance of clear communication and trust within a team setting.
A highlight of the evening was the leadership and communication style quiz, which provided each Junior Ambassador with valuable insights into their personal strengths and areas for improvement. Through this exercise, the students explored different leadership styles and learned how to leverage their unique abilities to contribute effectively in group scenarios.
The retreat was a perfect blend of learning and fun, setting a strong foundation for the leadership journey that lies ahead. The Junior Ambassadors left the evening inspired, motivated, and excited for the opportunities they will experience throughout the school year.
