Our latest EPIC (Entrepreneur Program Impacting Communities) meeting was an incredible experience for our students, thanks to an engaging CEO Roundtable featuring four dynamic local business owners:
• Angel Bennett – The Beach Moms
• Courtney Dombroski – Eco Clean Marine
• Kerry & Chip Begnaud – Orange Beach Parasail
This interactive session allowed students to ask real-world questions and gain firsthand insight into what it takes to run a successful business.

These business leaders shared their journeys—highlighting the challenges, risks, and rewards of entrepreneurship. From navigating the early struggles of starting a business to scaling operations and overcoming obstacles, their stories provided invaluable lessons for our aspiring young entrepreneurs.
Each speaker brought a unique perspective, offering insights into different industries—from concierge services and marine conservation to adventure tourism. Their candid responses provided valuable business lessons and encouraged students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams with confidence.

"Being a source of inspiration for young minds is incredibly rewarding. I wish I had someone to guide me when I was their age, so it means a lot to be part of their journey. It’s inspiring to see their passion and creativity already at work" - Eco Clean Marine CEO, Courtney Dombroski
The CEO Roundtable is a core part of our EPIC program, designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world business experiences. We aim to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of business leaders each year by connecting students with successful entrepreneurs.
We are incredibly grateful to Angel, Courtney, Kerry, and Chip for sharing their time, wisdom, and experiences with our students. Their willingness to be open and honest about their journeys truly made an impact!
As our EPIC program continues, we look forward to bringing in more inspiring business leaders to help guide our students on their entrepreneurial journeys.
Stay tuned for more updates, and if you know a business owner who would love to participate in a future CEO Roundtable, contact us today.

EPIC is a year-long interactive and educational business program that teaches students the fundamentals of starting a business and offers networking opportunities, resources, and funding for student start-ups. Each participant is paired with a mentor for personalized guidance, while the online curriculum is enhanced by monthly in-person meetings at Coastal Alabama Community College in Gulf Shores.
